A surviving homologation special Proton Wira 1.8L EXi C99 with strong mechanicals and good aesthetics. Only 2,500 units were produced to satisfy the World Rally Championship requirements in which Proton competes in. It features a double stitched chassis, uprated roll bars, a host of Recaro and Momo interior bits, a dual overhead cam engine, abs braking and a distinct rear spoiler for enhanced stability.

This particular unit has a good frame under neath with not much rust or repair works seen. The engine bay is neat and the engine and gearbox looks very clean. The original airbox and intake manifold is still present. So is the entire exhaust pipe which is presented in very good condition. The interior is original and in good condition for its age. The current owner has progressively maintained and upkeep the car to this stage.

This Limited Edition Proton is powered by a 1.8L Inline-4 motor driving the front wheels via a 5 speed manual transmission.

The condition of the exterior is good.
The original color of the car is Majorca Black and the exterior is repainted in metallic gray.
The car shows no sign of major body repairs or flood damage.
The body panels do not have big dents or scratches. Front and rear bumpers are slightly misaligned. Some wear marks on the corner of the bumpers.
Windscreen and windows have no obvious damage.
Wing mirrors are in good shape.
Rear boot has no signs of major damage.
Headlamps and indicators have no major damage apart from left side indicator.
Exterior chrome, plastic and rubber trims have no major damage. Wheels are missing center cap.

Interior:
Interior is original, well kept and non-smoking.
Driver Zone ie steering, gear knob, handbrake, and door handles are in good condition.
Passenger zone ie other doors and seats are in very good condition. Passenger air conditioning vent missing a lever.
Accessories functions ie lights, horn, wiper, signal, air conditioning and radio are operational
The lining near glovebox region has come loose. Some plastic and interior fabrics pieces have come loose or worn
The center display is not operational.

The car drives well and the handling is good.
Engine operation is good.
Engine temperature is stable.

Engine bay has no signs of sedimentation or leaks.
Power steering works fine.
The hoses show no signs of sedimentation or leak.
